What is romance?

Peter is madly in love with his high school sweetheart, to whom he has been married for 17 years. Despite this torrid love, he is still not quite sure what romance really is. His day job is at a nonprofit and his main hobby is writing, which has resulted in publication of a few short stories, essays, and a forthcoming novel, White Cloud Free, from V Press LC.

Ashley sat in front of Peter in 10th grade European History. She thought the boy who sat behind her was weird but interesting. Never in her wildest imagination would she have thought that 10 years later she would be marrying him. Ashley works for a charter school network and her passion is literature and literacy education.
